19:00 - 23:00: Local Products Exhibition
19:30 - 20:30: "Fairy tales at the edge of memory". Fairy tales mean comfort. Animals, birds, trees and even inanimate objects take on mythical dimensions, speak and tell stories of otherworldly times. Tales from the folklore of Asia Minor, as told by some, somewhere, once ..., accompanied by oud and cannon. The tales will be heard: The Golden Bird, The Eagle Girl, The Little Lion, Absalom, The Hunter's Son, Dilly Dilly. Narration: Amanda Gerarchaki, Uti: Kyriakos Eleftheriadis, Cannonball: Fanis Kousiounelos. Followed by a workshop.
19:30 - 20:30: Tour of the Rethymno diet before and after the arrival of the refugees from Asia Minor. The tour of the dietary world of the natives and refugees of Rethymno in the 1920s includes twenty tour stops at grocery stores, colonial food shops, casapias, fishmongers, bakeries, bakeries, dairies, grocery stores, pastry shops, ouzerias and cafes, street food trade and soup kitchens. Each stop is accompanied by a historical reference, while the tour ends in the Municipal Garden with a display of period pictures. 20:00 - 20:30: Flavours of memory by Ozlem Pelagia Tsega. An architectural method of the Ottomans was to mix sand, straw and egg white to make strong buildings. 20:30 - 21:30: Screening: Food habits and taste memories in Rethymno in the 1920s. The projection describes the situation in Rethymno before the crucial 1922. This was followed by the arrival of 4,200 Christian refugees and the departure of almost as many Muslims, movements that changed the food situation, in primary production, in trade and catering services and at the family table. The osmosis of the two worlds that occurred led to a new Rethymno, overall and especially in the food sector. 21:30: Concert with "toPos" and Spitadaki Matthaia. Kaloriziko and... Let's catch topos! With elements of Cretan sousta, traditional vocal turns, pop, rock and new age folk! "topos" bring something fresh but familiar, a blend of traditional and modern sounds. This is a mainstream project, Greek-speaking with world elements. It is the new trend of new age folk. ..!
