- Free for children up to 6 years old.

MUSIC BANDS
21:30 – 23:00: “Greeks and Turks sing together” concert - Stegi Vitsentzos Kornaros. The Stegi Vitsentzos Kornaros is a non-profit organization based in Sitia, Crete. For this summer, VITSENZOS CORNAROS SHELTER has created a musical ensemble with Greek and Turkish musicians, who will present a programme of folk songs common to both peoples, as well as songs by Loizos translated into Turkish and songs by Livaneli (winner of the recent book exhibition in Thessaloniki) translated into Greek.
The musical ensemble consists of:
3 Turks: Ali Fuat Ayadin - sazzi, Mehmet Ali Orman - clarinet, Asli Kurt Ayadin - singing
5 Greeks: Kyriakos Gouvendas - violin, Maria Plumi - lute, Evi Kanellou - oriental percussion, Nikos Taleas - keyboards/ accordion, Maria Fragouli - singing,
1 Greek-Turkish girl: Fotini Kokkala - cannon, (Greek married to a Turk and living 15 years in Istanbul, ''bridge'')
The songs will be sung in both Greek and Turkish.
The concert is under the auspices of the Ministry of Culture.
